Double-Buckle Advantage
A two-buckle design eliminates the need to pull your dog's leg up and

The Defender Harness has different accessories you can attach at any point. The detachable mesh is one of the most popular accessories. This product allows for even more personalization of patches, ID cards, or plain mesh.

Elite (patterned) Option: The construction is slightly different but has all the same benefits as our traditional (solid), only slightly thicker! By choosing an elite pattern the cordura front yolk of the harness will be in the pattern of choice as will the top, handle and girth strap.

Removable Mesh Backing:

Would you like the Removable Mesh ID Backing? You can purchase here. 

This Removable Mesh ID Backing attaches directly to the defender harness with velcro. This provides more stability for the defender harness while also allowing the opportunity for more identification. 

Options of Mesh Backing:

• Plain
  
• Standard plain mesh has no velcro or additions, it is simply to help keep the tail of the harness down. 
• ID card Holder/Velcro
• One side has a plastic ID card holder sewn onto mesh, approximately the size of a drivers license card. The other side is velcro. 
• Velcro 
• Four 1" strips of velcro sewn onto webbing in the formation of molle.

Sizing

This product is designed to fit medium-sized and large-sized breeds, this harness  is available in the following sizes

• Small:       Girth 25"-30"
• Medium:   Girth 29"-34"
• Large:       Girth 32"-38"
• X-Large:   Girth 36"-42"

X-Small : 23" - 26" -

The neck should not be fully expanded. It needs at least 3" of hook and loop to be in contact with each other. 

Please measure your pet or working dog's girth with a soft measuring tape (or piece of string- then lay against a tape measure)  to get the most accurate measurement. Our harness measurements are listed above in inches.

FAQs

What’s the purpose for two V-Rings?
The option for two attachment points allows for standard lead attachment on the forward v-ring for routine use and specialized lead attachment to the rear v-ring in tracking and agitation use.
Is the mesh removable?
Yes, the harness comes standard with loop attachment on the inside of the harness webbing for mesh attachment.

Is the mesh included?
This harness does not come with mesh. You can see our Defender Harness Mesh options here.

Is this only designed for working use?
No, this harness can be used for canines of almost any size and activity level.
