Description
Super Heavy Weight BioThane Beta is a staple here at K9TG. This easy to hold material is great for the outdoors as it does not pick up foreign matter and does not easily knot. It is great for every day use, nose work, search and rescue, detection work and out on the field. Biothane is also great for wet/damp conditions as it does not wick and provides a water-proof and stink-proof leash option.
This is not the same as heavy weight beta. Super Heavy Weight beta is 0.15" thick with a break strength of 1,000lbs per inch.
Please note that an increase that will be stated under "Product Customization" will be visible on your checkout page. This will refer to the increase in pricing due to length increases, upgrading your snap option, and adding a control handle. Frog snap with Swivel is a $30 price increase, adding a control handle is an $8 price increase, and as you add length it will be $1 per foot.

- Chicago posts are all coated with thread-lock. The posts will not be able to be unscrewed.
- BioThane Beta material is basically a polyester webbing with a PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean and weldable

Is Biothane waterproof?
Unlike nylon, Biothane Beta is completely waterproof, difficult to tangle, and doesn’t pick up debris making it a great choice for any outdoor conditions. This material does not absorb moisture and is a great stink-proof alternative to a standard leash.
