Heavy duty spreader hook, made of Yellow Zinc forged Steel. This hook has a 1" diameter center eye. Each snap has dual double locking gates.
The 5000lb proof load rating was the main reason I pulled the trigger, and this thing feels like it could tow a small car. The yellow zinc finish looks sharp and the 10-inch length gives plenty of room to work with. Exactly the heavy-duty piece I needed for my setup.
I was honestly surprised by how much hardware this thing is for the weight. The 5000lb proof load gives me real peace of mind when I'm working the dogs, and the forged steel feels absolutely solid in hand. The yellow zinc coating is already resisting the weather here, so no complaints.
Took this hook out on the trail with my two dogs, and that 5,000lb proof load rating gives me serious peace of mind. The yellow zinc finish feels tough and the steel is noticeably hefty at 1.8lbs, but it handles the spreader bar with zero flex. Exactly what I needed for a solid, worry-free connectio
