The Hands-Free Leather Leash is a single lead that can be configured into 3 different lengths depending on your desire for different scenarios. The versatile leash is a great addition to your gear collection as it can be used for all types of training, neighborhood strolls, public outings, service dogs and K9 patrol work. The term "hands-free" refers to the leash worn over your shoulder while still connected to your dog for hands-free control.
This style leash is also referred to as a "police lead" or "working lead."
Also for the first time ever we are now offering our hands free lead in our 1/2" width!
Features:
- All our leashes use a unique, strong yet supple leather imported from Europe that is extremely comfortable in your hands
- Top quality stainless-steel bolt snap at each end and 3 stationary O-rings
- Versatility for many situations
- Connected to the last ring will create a standard leash with handle, connected to the second ring will be the hands-free length with a 16" tab, connecting to the first ring will secure the leash to the shortest configuration and the largest hands-free loop.
Product Specs & Compatibility
Hardware
- All bolt snaps are black coated stainless steel
- We hand braid the snap onto the leash instead of stitching because we feel it is safer and stronger
- Thread can deteriorate due to wear and sun, but the braid is strong and will not fail
- You can also upgrade to a Frog snap
Available Sizes and Adjustments
- 6' is 7' overall length, 6' with standard handle, 50" with 16" tab and 45"
- 7' is 8' overall length, 7' with standard handle, 56" with 16" tab and 50"
- 8' is 9' overall length, 8' with standard handle, 62" with 16" tab and 56"
Quality Imported Leather
- 1/2" or 5/8" width
- High quality leather tanned for extreme conditions
- Not affected by water, sun, or sand
- Safer than others on the market because the durability of the leather is not affected by extreme working conditions
- Does not need to be conditioned to keep it from drying out and it will not get "gummy" when wet
