Herm Sprenger Toggle Chains are made for the perfect fit. These are made to fit around the dog's neck instead of having to go over the head. Steel Chrome-plated.
This is also known as a whale tale.
Measurement is from end to end. Neck size to fit approximately 1-1.5" less than the size for collar.
16" is 2.0mm
18", 20 and 22" are 2.5mm
24" is 3.0mm
The chrome plating has a nice smooth finish, and the toggle design lets me fit it snug without wrestling my pup's head through. It's been through muddy walks and still looks sharp after a quick rinse.
The toggle design is such a relief—I can clip it around my pup’s neck without the whole head-over ordeal, and the chrome plating feels smooth and sturdy. Snaps on in seconds and stays put, which is exactly what I needed for our morning walks.
I was dreading the usual wrestling match of getting a collar over my dog's head, but this one just toggles right on—the chrome plating is smooth and looks sharp, and the steel feels sturdy for everyday walks. It's the easiest collar change I've made in years.
